DESCRIPTION:

Join us for a music & sound art class!

We will start with a demonstration, where I will go over the very basics of music making, focusing on ambient sounds. We will be working making these cool graphic scores in groups, and playing our compositions on a collection of different interesting and unique (and sensory friendly) instruments that will be provided. 

Absolutely NO experience is required, and attendees are welcome to break outside the mold and do something different, experiment, and be creative! At the end of the event, attendees are encouraged (but not required) to submit what they created to our upcoming art exhibition.

Bio: Nicole has a master’s degree in Music Theory & Composition from NYU and has been teaching piano since 2017.
