Live-In Support

  • “Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) are community residences that provide individualized service options. Supervised IRAs provide 24-hour staff support and supervision. Supportive IRAs provide need-based supports and services for people who are capable of living more independently.

    Residential services are provided in NYC, Long Island, Westchester county, Rockland county, and some parts of New Jersey.”

  • “YAI's Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP) is a series of 12-week group sessions, providing the opportunity for adults, 18 or older, to learn and develop skills in a group setting. Sessions focus on judgment, decision making, risk-taking, recognizing strengths, problem-solving, self-esteem, and self-advocacy. Weekly topics include money management, community safety, self-care, friendships, and relationships.”
