LOCATION: Chelsea & Virtual

DESCRIPTION:

Struggling with a workplace that doesn’t feel “Autism-friendly”? Unsure about how or if to unmask at work? Wondering how to ask for accommodations like remote work, a quieter environment, or written instructions?

Join us on Saturday, October 18th for our Career Advocacy Workshop! We will be joined by attorney and fellow member, Gray, who will talk about ADA law.

This event is part of our “Employment and Autism” series. Career advocacy focuses on ensuring equal access to employment opportunities, necessary workplace accommodations, and protections against discrimination.

We’ll cover your workplace rights, explore the pros and cons of disclosing your autism, and dive into possible accommodations that can help make your job more accessible. This workshop also offers a space to share personal experiences, ask specific questions, and brainstorm solutions together!
