DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to another event of our series of train IDs! To accommodate as many people as possible, please only RSVP to one of the 2 Train ID events this month!

In this event, we will be walking around the West Side Yards, where the LIRR stores their trains after their service to Penn Station! We will be taking a walk around the area and learn about the history of the area and the locomotives, as well as seeing some possible train action during the walk. Whether you’re an avid fan of trains or you want to learn more about West Side Yards history, this event is for you!

This event may be overstimulating, as there will be car traffic, loud train noises and so on. We recommend bringing headphones, earbuds, or any other sensory tools you need!

This event will involve a decent amount of walking/standing, light snacks/water are recommended for this walk.
