Join us for a session with Pawsability!

Pawsability is a non-profit dog daycare and grooming facility in Bushwick, Brooklyn, focused on creating employment opportunities for autistic adults. 

This event will give an introduction to pet care careers! Activities include interacting with small dogs, assisting with a dog bath, and learning about career opportunities in the pet care field. If you’re looking for jobs/interested in exploring new fields and an animal lover, this event is for you!

There will be cheese pizza provided! Please be sure to wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Dog slobber and hair may get on clothing.

Sensory note - There is a separate break room from the dog runs where people can go to decompress. However, you can still hear the dogs barking and a good chunk of our time will be on the dog-run where it is pretty loud and can be smelly. Feel free to wear headphones/earplugs or anything to accommodate, but be aware it is a high-sensory environment with lots of dogs!
