LOCATION: Midtown. This is an accessible space with an elevator.
DESCRIPTION:
This event is for Autistic adults who identify as BIPOC: Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color.
Come and join us for an afternoon of comic making!
In this workshop, led by our own Jennesis Pham (he > they), you will learn the basics on how to write a comic. After learning the bare bones, you will have time to come up with ideas and make your own four panel comics. No artistic experience necessary! Just come as you are and with your brilliant ideas and feelings. Feel free to just observe as well. Inspiration may hit later at home or elsewhere, and that is okay!
Sometimes it can be hard to convey ideas through speaking or words, but comics are a great form of storytelling that is completely visual!
What to bring: ideas, feelings, comics/graphic novels for inspiration (optional)
