LOCATION: Midtown. 2nd floor, Room 2-2.

This is an accessible space with an elevator.

DESCRIPTION:

We’re excited to share a last-minute opportunity from Spin the Spectrum, a Texas-based nonprofit that hosts neurodiversity-affirming DJ classes, camps, and workshops. They’re in NYC this week for a talk show appearance and reached out to offer our members a session!

Their facilitators will give a demo covering some basic DJ techniques and transitions. Then, attendees will get the chance to take turns on the DJ controller. This is a good opportunity to try out DJ-ing in a supportive space.

We'll do our intros at 5:15, and start the class right at 5:30! This will be a short class so please be sure to arrive on time. After the class is done, you're welcome to stick around, I'll be hosting the Community Forum on zoom in same room at 7.
