LOCATION: Chelsea & Virtual. This is an accessible space and we are on the first floor.
DESCRIPTION:
Join us for a Writing Workshop, lead by special guest and new member Justine Champine! Justine Champine’s short fiction has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Epoch, and The Los Angeles Review of Books. She holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Needle Lake is her second novel, after her debut Knife River.
Description of the workshop from our host: A creative writing workshop focused on crafting rich, vivid atmosphere through sensory detail. Feel free to bring your own works in progress, short excerpts of your favorite sensory rich writings by other authors to share, or just yourselves!
Using a break out group format, the time will be divided into a craft discussion using examples of published works as reference points, and active writing time followed by a workshop.
