History Lost to Time: Seneca Village, San Juan Hill, & Weeksville

This virtual event serves as a space to share lesser known Black History in relation to New York. It is meant to be a platform to educate and discuss the areas now covered by modern neighborhoods in the city: Seneca Village, San Juan Hill, and Weeksville. Topics discussed will include the origins, notable achievements, and downfalls of these black meccas. Together, we will learn integral pieces of black history that have paved the way for the accomplishments of further generations of black residents in this city!
