About the Show: Just in Time is a musical based on the life of legendary singer Bobby Darin. Born in 1936, Darin struggled with a serious heart condition and knew he would have a short life. So he wanted to achieve as much as he could in the time he had. Jonathan Groff plays both himself and Darin, using Darin’s story and his own to remind audiences of the importance and impact of live performance. Featuring many of Darin’s hit songs, including “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Beyond the Sea” and “Mack the Knife,” the musical is performed in a nightclub setting with a live band.
