LOCATION: Jamaica, Queens

DESCRIPTION:

Get ready for a tour of Long Island Rail Road’s Jamaica Station! In this event, we will be walking around the station while we learn about the history of the station and how it is the centerpoint for LIRR operations. We will see lots of train action throughout the station! Whether you’re an avid fan of trains or you want to learn more about Jamaica Station, this event is for you!

This event may be overstimulating, as there will be car traffic, loud diesel locomotive noises/horns/bells and so on. We’d recommend bringing headphones, earbuds, or any other sensory tools you need!

This event will involve a lot of walking throughout the station and going up and down the stairs. Please bring light snacks/water as needed.
