About the Show: Based on the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the musical The Great Gatsby takes place in the seaside communities of 1920s Long Island, NY. The story is narrated by Nick Carraway, who becomes involved in the lives of socialites Jay Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan and Tom Buchanan. While Gatsby attempts to rekindle his relationship with Daisy, Nick marvels at their wealthy lifestyle. He soon learns that money can’t buy the most important things in life.
