Join us for a Workshop on Emotion Regulation on Saturday, February 17th, at 12:00PM, led by our very own Heidi and Arlene! This is a Hybrid event and has the option to join in-person OR virtually.
Emotion regulation is the ability to manage and respond to your emotional state, something many of us find challenging. In this workshop, we’ll cover:
An overview of emotion regulation, meltdowns, shutdowns, and burnout
What emotions are, how they show up differently in autistic people, and topics like alexithymia
Habits to build over time vs. coping skills to use in the moment
This will be a discussion-based workshop with small group exercises to help explore these topics together.
